Wise Oaks offers a Cambridge-based curricula for all Grades 1-8. We also offer the Reception Year Program which is an unique and proprietary curriculum that focuses on building strong skills in foundational English and Math.
In alignment to the Cambridge Primary Curriculum, the medium of instruction is English. Wise Oaks offers Hindi, French and Tamil as options for 2nd language.
All teachers are academically and professionally qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching in international or local schools.
Wise Oaks has a structured assessment program based on regular Formative Assessments (FA) and Summative Assessments (SA). This assessment program is supplemented by standardised testing, where applicable, to benchmark the learning achievements of our students to age group equivalent standards in English and Math. Wise Oaks’ academic calendar is from April to March with Semester I - April to September, and Semester II - Oct to March. Students from local kindergartens who are from 4 years of age are welcome to join Wise Oaks Reception Year Grade or Grade 1 if they have graduated from the kindergarten. We welcome students studying in other international schools into the same class during the current Academic session if they match the age criteria for Admission to that grade.

Wise Oaks has a rolling admissions policy i.e. admission happens throughout the year. Admissions during a term are offered keeping in mind the movements of expatriates and would depend on the vacancy in the relevant grade at the time of admission.
A proficiency test will be administered to the student at the time of enrolment to identify the learning gaps and accordingly, a bridging program will be planned by our experienced teachers to facilitate a seamless transition into the student’s current class.

School timings for Classes 1 to 8 from Monday to Friday is 9.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.
Students are expected to attend school at all times unless they have valid excuses. The minimum attendance requirement for all students is 85%.

We unfortunately do not have canteen facility at our school. Students are expected to carry packed lunch. Parents may arrange for food to be delivered for their child to school.
