The Cambridge international curriculum sets a global standard for education and is recognized by universities and employers worldwide. Our curriculum is flexible, challenging, and inspiring, culturally sensitive yet international in approach. Cambridge students develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. They also gain the essential skills they need for success at university and in their future careers.
Cambridge programs combine an emphasis on mastering subjects in-depth with the development skills for study and work in the future. Deep subject knowledge as well as the conceptual understanding that helps students make links between different aspects of a subject is highly valued. Students are encouraged to develop higher-order thinking skills - problem-solving, critical thinking, independent research, collaboration, and presenting arguments. These are transferable skills that will last a lifetime, preparing students for their future lives. They also make learning enjoyable and rewarding.
The Wise Oaks' Cambridge curriculum starts our learners on an exciting educational journey. It provides a strong foundation for students at the beginning of their schooling before progressing through the rigors of secondary curriculum in an age-appropriate way. We provide a broad and balanced education for our learners, helping them to thrive throughout their schooling, work, and life. Teaching instruction caters to each student’s needs, abilities and learning styles, resulting in a community of happy, confident, and engaged learners.
Wise Oaks offers Cambridge Primary curriculum from Grades 1-6. We believe education works best when curriculum, teaching, learning, and assessment align. Cambridge Primary prepares students for the next stage by developing knowledge, understanding and skills across the programme.
We offer Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum for Grades 7-8. Our lower secondary programme is part of the Cambridge Pathway. The pathway leads seamlessly from lower secondary to upper secondary and pre-university years. Each stage builds on the learners’ development from the previous one or from other educational systems.
All our teaching and learning are infused with passion and enjoyment. This curriculum framework ensures that education will be relevant to life beyond the school. Wise Oaks provides educational experiences that will make learning come alive for students. Our curriculum extends beyond formal learning areas and helps learners to develop the capability and the confidence in applying what they know, to day-to-day problems and issues in a self-managed manner.
