Wise Oaks International School follows the globally recognized Cambridge Pathway, providing a comprehensive and enriching academic journey for students from Grades 1 to 10. With the addition of its Foundation Plus program, Wise Oaks ensures a seamless transition into formal education, fostering a passion for lifelong learning while preparing students for future academic success.
At Wise Oaks, the academic journey begins with the Foundation Plus - Reception Year Program (RYP), a bridging course for students aged 4-5 before entering Grade 1. This program stimulates imagination and creativity while laying a strong foundation in English and mathematics. Through play-based learning and an emphasis on social skills and self-discovery, the RYP prepares students for the academic rigour of Cambridge Primary 1. By nurturing these early skills, students confidently transition into the formal school setting, equipped for success.
CAMBRIDGE PRIMARY
Moving forward, the Grades 1-5 Cambridge Primary program blends classroom learning with real-world experiences. The curriculum emphasizes inquiry, exploration, and creative problem-solving, encouraging students to develop a deep understanding of the world around them. This is facilitated by Wise Oaks' talented and culturally diverse educators, who ensure that teaching is both inspiring and responsive to individual learning needs.
CAMBRIDGE LOWER SECONDARY
In Grades 6-8, the Cambridge Lower Secondary program continues this developmental approach, focusing on critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This stage not only promotes intellectual engagement but also fosters emotional growth, ensuring that students become confident, compassionate, and value-driven individuals. The curriculum at this level encourages collaboration, independent research, and an understanding of global perspectives, setting the stage for further academic success.
For Grades 9 and 10, Wise Oaks offers the Cambridge Pre-Advanced (IGCSE) curriculum, which is equivalent to a US high school diploma. This stage emphasizes intellectual inquiry and skills-based learning, allowing students to explore a wide range of subjects. The IGCSE program enhances students’ problem-solving abilities and deepens their understanding of complex concepts, laying a solid foundation for advanced studies. Through meaningful assessments and a challenging academic environment, students are well-prepared for the next phase of their education.
Wise Oaks' commitment to holistic education, starting with the Foundation Plus program and continuing through the Cambridge Pathway, ensures that students are not only academically prepared but also equipped with lifelong skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application. The school’s approach nurtures intellectual curiosity, emotional resilience, and a strong sense of values, allowing Wise Oaks students to thrive in higher education and their future careers globally.
